Confident shot-maker from KL Power-5. Buried a string of open3’s Saturday afternoon. Things didn’t change when facing tougher competition on Sunday. Burying a handful of additional 3-pointers from the corner to help his group pull away from opponents. Catch-and-shoot seems to be his specialty.

West and the entire Edgewood team got knocked on their heels by Lake Mills. Still, you can see there is young talent in the Crusaders’ program and that starts with West, a combination guard who has an improved jump shot while also continuing to get to the basket. He scored all seven points for Edgewood in the first half and handled the ball well against some intense pressure defense. He will need to get stronger over the next two seasons, but his future in the game remains exceptionally strong.

Nicolet jumped out to an early lead over Edgewood, but West put together a big game helping keep things competitive until the end. As just a sophomore he plays with exceptional pace, and is just as comfortable attacking left as he is right. Can pin a defender on his hip, and then explode to create separation to finish at the rim. Even against a quick Nicolet defense, Timmy was finding ways to beat defenders off the dribble, and get two feet in the lane to create for himself or his teammates.

This Madison Edgewood guard is a player to know as he established himself early into his high school career at the varsity level. West tallied 15 double digit scoring outputs last season. This summer he has been running with a solid 3SSB circuit team in Power 5. He has been applying pressure to the basket with his length and athleticism. Expect to hear more from him as his game continues to grow as a stock riser in the state.
