It’s easy to see what all this excitement is about with this young star. Cast just seemed to always be a threat for a bucket. He had range well behind the arc and looked like he could shot through a defender. Cast’s pull up was smooth and quick, which forced the defense to be engaged as soon as he crossed half court. He wasn’t just a shooter though, but definitely a true lead guard. Cast showed the ability to touch paint, draw the defense and dump it off to a teammate in a scoring position.

Cast had a huge summer with The Family and really established himself as a premier prospect in the class of 2027. He’s a wizard with the ball and almost unstoppable when he gets downhill with his right hand. Cast combines creativity and power when he finishes at the rim.

Cast is an exciting prospect that made noise on a national level this spring and summer. He recently received a Central Michigan offer. Cast can start and stop on a dime with the ball in his hands and that is a huge part of his elite pull up game. He can lull a defender in with his crossover and have a shot up before they can even challenge it. Cast should have the gym gasping and the livestream buzzing.

Cast was a stock riser this spring and summer with The Family .. He was able to play on or off the ball, making him versatile on the offensive end. Cast has shown the ability to shoot off the catch in the past, so his improvement in creating looks and shooting off the bounce has been huge.

Cast has all the makings of a very special player and prospect. He’s dangerous with the ball in his hands and can put a defender on his hip with an array of dribble combo moves. Cast has an athletic jumper that he can hit off the catch as well as while on the move. He’s a true 3 level scorer that can attack with body control. Cast’s vast offensive game makes him very versatile.

Cast is going to be a special player. This kid is super talented and skilled. He plays with a great pace and changes speed super well. He is ultra smooth. He moves very fluidly and smoothly along his jumper is super smooth. Cast has some great ball handling and moves. He attacked the defenders’ top foot, made their hips shift, and then attacked. He has a smooth high arching shot. He is quick and shifty which makes himself hard to defend. He has some long arms. This freshman will go on to be a big-time player and name you will see at the next level.

Cast has the potential to be a human highlight reel over the next 4 years. He has the look of an extremely versatile scorer that can get buckets all over the floor from all 3 levels. Cast has what I’d call a controlled explosiveness that makes him a very tough cover. He makes athletic and creative plays with the ball.
