The toughness and intentionality Jordan plays with each time out is apparent. He doesn’t get deterred and will keep coming at you throughout the game even if he has a few setbacks. Jordan finished with a team-best 24 points while drawing four fouls. He is especially difficult to stop once he gets downhill toward the basket or even off of his post-up moves against other backcourt players. Jordan added four rebounds, an assist and a steal and is a potential first-team all-league player in the Big Eight Conference.

Believe it or not, it’s already Jordan’s third year of varsity basketball. After playing well as a freshman at Madison East and even better as a sophomore at Madison La Follette, Jordan took on the leadership role for La Follette in its win over Kenosha Tremper. He picked his spots to use his strength and ability to make shots facing the basket or with his back to the basket while scoring 24 points. His steady play, solid ball handling and impressive decision making will be crucial as La Follette attempts to win a Big Eight championship.

Reece Jordan can simply go and get a bucket. He was one of the most productive freshmen in the state last season, and it’s easy to see why. He has an impressive skillset, but for the most part he keeps the game simple, and it allows him to score with efficiency. Reece has a quick first step, and when a gap is there to attack, he can fly to the basket to score. Has a nice hesitation move where he can lull a defender to sleep before exploding in the opposite direction. A nightmare to stop in transition with his combination of vision and finishing ability.
