A skilled player from the 2028 class, Costello can play either guard position and does so with confidence and a high skill level. He handles and passes the ball very well, but his best attribute might just be his long-distance shooting. Costello is deadly from beyond the arc and proved it Wednesday by knocking down several triples for his team. Costello saw plenty of varsity playing time as a freshman and will be a key player for a very good Madison La Follette squad in 2025-26.

Costello was a pick and roll maestro all morning. He displayed a high level understanding of driving angles and passing lanes. He proved to be really quick from point A to point B with the ball in his hands. His approach made for solid offense for team 3.
