Expert Analysis
Mark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
A top-tier class of 2028 prospect in Wisconsin, Williams lived up to that lofty reputation by scoring 22 points for Waukesha North in its loss to Edgewood. Williams got the ball often at the high post and was able to beat some of Edgewood’s taller defenders to the basket with his quickness and explosive jumping ability. He also stepped outside a bit to handle the ball and take a few perimeter shots, but his true value in his verticality and ability to score in the paint. As he rounds out his game over the next couple of seasons, look for Williams to gain plenty of recruiting attention from collegiate programs.

Williams was one of the most consistent energy players at camp, impacting the game with hustle and athleticism. He routinely won 50-50 balls, extended possessions, and brought toughness on both ends. In the mid-post, he displayed patience, reading the defense before attacking or finding open teammates. With his motor and team-first approach, Williams was a steady contributor and standout for Team 6.

Quick off his feet and explosive toward the basket, Williams is one of the better forward prospects in the 2028 class. He played big minutes as a freshman at Waukesha North, and scored with ease and at the rim and from the mid-range for Team 6. Williams now is much better with the ball in his hands as he often facilitated the offense for his squad. Williams had a solid spring/summer for Team Haliburton and figures to be one of the top young players in the Woodland West Conference this winter.
