Prep Hoops Ranking: 12
Rogers has played very well for Chapman Basketball Academy on the Puma circuit this spring and has elevated his standing with collegiate coaches. He currently owns NCAA Division I scholarship offers from La Salle, Milwaukee and Western Illinois in large part because of his quickness, ball-handling and passing skills, and ability to lead a team. A three-year varsity performer for Homestead entering his senior season, Rogers is coming off a junior season where he averaged 19.0 point and 4.3 assists while also flashing a penchant for making difficult shots when his team needed the points the most.

Rogers brought an old school traditional point guard feel that was refreshing to watch. He played with high basketball IQ and consistently made the right reads throughout the game. Rogers also showed deep shooting range, confidently knocking down shots from well beyond the high school three point line. He controlled tempo effectively and never looked sped up offensively. His ability to balance scoring with playmaking gave his team stability in the backcourt. Rogers competed with poise and composure regardless of defensive pressure. He looked like a guard coaches can trust with the ball in big moments.

Current Offers: LaSalle, Milwaukee, Hawaii-Hilo, Western Illinois.
A supremely confident player who has a penchant for making difficult shots, Rogers’ spring showing for Chapman Basketball Academy has been extremely strong. The shifty, quick and skilled lead guard runs the show for CBA and is a dual threat thanks to his scoring and passing ability. Rogers has some good offers from Division I programs and looks to add to his list this spring and summer. Already a three-year varsity performer at Homestead, Rogers is one of the state’s elite point-guard prospects.

, among others. But the highly skilled and intelligent point guard is a very strong player in his own right and he has proven his mettle while competing on the best circuit in the country, the Nike EYBL. Rogers is a shot maker, a table setter and a pesky defender for
Team Herro
. He makes up for his lack of size with his skill, quickness and court savvy. NCAA Division I and II coaches have taken notice of Homestead’s steady lead guard and it might be a matter of time before he picks up a scholarship offer.

Rogers was extremely productive for the Highlanders.
The 5’10 guard is comfortable under pressure on the offensive end. He showed the ability to read and anticipate. Rogers created shots for himself rather easily. Most impressive was his balance when pulling up from range.

Rodgers is bringing a lot to the floor as he enters his Sophomore season.
Most notably, Rogers has extremely high IQ early into his high school career. The 5’10 guard can score the ball on all three levels of the floor with efficiency.
He competed at a high level over the summer months playing alongside top prospects in the state with Team Herro on the EYBL circuit.
