About Colin
Expert Analysis
Mark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
Mr. Smooth was particularly smooth for Whitefish Bay in its impressive triumph over Beaver Dam. The lanky junior wing tossed in 27 points and looked very good in doing so. He snapped the nets for four three-point baskets, had two dunks and made three-of-four foul shots for the Blue Dukes. Julien needs to get stronger and add weight, but his skill set, athleticism, unselfishness and overall feel for the game are all extremely impressive and the reason he is ranked No. 11 by Prep Hoops Wisconsin in the state’s loaded 2027 class.

Colin is one of the top two-way guards in his class. With a long and lanky frame at 6’3, he can guard almost every spot on the floor at the high school level. He can get up in passing lanes on the wing, block shots at the rim, and move his feet with smaller guards on the perimeter. So good at jumping a pass and quickly turning defense into offense with a transition finish. He has the physical tools as an athletic 6’3 guard with long arms, and has a budding offensive skillset to match.
