Jones played a major role for Team Haliburton with Tyrese watching from the baseline behind the basket. Jones knocked down a handful of set 3-pointers and used the threat of his jumper to attack closeouts and get to the rim. Jones played well off the ball as he caught the ball ready to make a decision whether to pass or shoot. With a pair of his future college coaches in attendance, Jones should have a chance to earn minutes early in his college career for the Huskies of Northern Illinois.

Coaches often say the best players make those around them better, and that’s exactly what Zeak does. His work ethic and commitment during the AAU season have translated into stronger performances, helping his high school team compete at the June Jam. He was able to put up double digit scoring in all his games this weekend and he brings that from his club Team Haliburton . On his AAU team, he shows great leadership and scoring which translates to his Dominican team. He has been having a great summer in travel ball and has been a key contributor to Team Haliburton s success so far this summer.

Jones owns offers from nine NCAA Division I programs, including both Green Bay and Milwaukee. His combination of size, skill and athleticism are outstanding as he can fill it up from deep. Equally adept at scoring off the dribble and from the foul line in addition to his long-range marksmanship, Jones put up 25.8 points per game as a junior despite being the emphasis of opposing scouting reports. He also contributed 6.9 rebounds and 2.5 steals per outing for the Knights.

With eight NCAA Division I offers, Jones is hardly an unknown. But his play this spring with Team Haliburton has been impressive. His ability to shoot from the perimeter and well beyond the three-point line is his biggest strength. But he’s also a player who competes with aggressiveness and athleticism and a winning attitude. He will need to get stronger and put on some muscle weight, but the future looks very promising for the latest in an extremely long line of stellar guard prospects to come out of Dominican.
