McKhale had a great performance in a tough win over UTC Fire. The 6’2” guard took on most of the ball-handling duties for his team, running the show and creating for himself and teammates. He is a quick and shifty player who blew by defenders with ease, being able to convert on tough finishes. Wesley also showed off a nice pull-up jumper that he used in the mid-range.

Current Prep Hoops Wisconsin Ranking: 207
Visibility is one of the major benefits of club basketball. It’s hard to be known without getting out there and competing against good competition each weekend. Wesley has done just that for
All-Wisconsin
, and in the process, the Shorewood guard has emerged as perhaps the most underrated player in the state’s 2027 class. An athletic slasher with length and the ability to convert turnovers into breakaway dunks, Wesley is a talented backcourt prospect for coach Chris Robinson at Shorewood. He figures to rank among the top players in the Woodland East Conference the next two seasons, and he is a player who will attract the attention of college coaches because of his size, length and athleticism.

McKhale has been one of the biggest stock-risers of the spring in my eyes. The Shorewood guard is such an explosive athlete, and it shows with how quickly he can change direction on the ball. He had no problem leaving defenders in his dust as he got to his spots for pull-up jumpers, and he gets great elevation on his shot making it difficult to contest. Switched on to one of Pro Lane ‘s top players in the second half, and really limited him the rest of the game, as he has the lateral quickness to sit deep in a stance and pressure the ball the length of the floor.

Wesley provided a jolt off the bench for All Wisconsin, combining athleticism and flair at the guard spot. A pest defensively with quick hands and timing, he constantly disrupted passing lanes and stripped ball handlers. On offense, he electrified the crowd with highlight-reel finishes. Wesley displayed acrobatic layups and dunks that showed off his bounce and creativity in space.

came in off the bench for All Wisconsin and instantly made an impact with his defense and passing. He’s such an explosive athlete, and had the quick burst to jump passes for steals, and then facilitate in the open floor. Timed his passes perfectly for a number of transition assists. Wesley also had the play of the day where he took flight in transition for a powerful and-one dunk right over a defender. He just has that extra burst of explosiveness that not many guys have, and it allowed him to consistently blow by defenders off the dribble and get into the lane to make plays as a facilitator or finisher.

One of the more pleasant surprises of The Rock Spring Classic was the play of Wesley for the Chapman North Elite 16U. He performed well on both ends, using his length, aggressiveness and ability to move his feet to disrupt things for opponents. He had a couple of steals and layups for CBA in its loss to
Pro Lane
, and also scored well in the half court with his ability to make mid-range jumpers or get all the way to the basket. The second-team all-Woodland East Conference performer had a strong sophomore season for coach Chris Robinson at Shorewood, averaging 15.5 points and 4.6 rebounds for the Greyhounds.
