Springfield gives you a bit of everything as he’s versatile enough to play in the backcourt and physical enough to guard bigger opponents. He can score off the dribble and from outside the arc while also rebounding at a good level while going up against taller players. He stays within his game very well, often passing up good looks at the basket for even better chances to score. Springfield earned some substantial playing time as a junior at Pius XI Catholic and has played well for CBA South this spring.

A workhorse who plays much bigger than his 6-foot-0 height, Springfield found openings in the MTXE defense to the tune of scoring 24 points to help Chapman Basketball Academy South Black record its overtime victory. Springfield used his physical strength and jumping ability to score near the basket. He also was difficult to slow off the bounce as he finished in the lane and also drew fouls throughout the contest. Springfield played with intensity, high energy and purpose on both ends of the court for the entire contest, and he figures to challenge for a spot in the Pius XI Catholic playing rotation in 2025-26 after playing for the Popes’ JV1 squad last winter.
