Jones showcased his skills with Wisconsin Playground Club . He took his talents to Pius XI this fall for high school. Jones has a good feel for the game at the point guard position. He provided strong ball security for team 12. He covers a lot of ground with the ball at 5’9. His quick first step opened up a great deal of opportunities for him. I was really impressed with his ability to score inside of the arc.

The future looks bright for Pius XI, as they had a handful of prospects playing at a high level at both the sophomore and freshman camps. Justin always seems to be flying around the floor at 100 mph, but despite that he’s always under control and doesn’t seem rushed. Defensively he utilizes his quickness to pressure opposing point guards on the ball and force errors. On the offensive end he’s so dangerous coming off screens as he can get downhill and finish at the rim, find his big rolling to the hoop, or pull-up for a mid-range jumper/floater in the lane.
