A two-year varsity performer at Pius XI Catholic, Simo Kamdem has the size, broad shoulders and skill around the basket to make things tough on opponents. He finished with nine points on four baskets and a free throw for River City in its narrow loss to eventual champion ABC Young Lions . When he was able to get the ball on the block, Simo Kamdem did a nice job of using the glass and scoring through contact. He also is an outstanding screener on the perimeter for his teammates. Defensively, Simo Kamdem plays with length and does a solid job of limiting the opposition to one shot with his strong defensive rebounding ability.
