Blake Basich
About Blake
Expert Analysis
Max Wagner | Prep Hoops Scout
A pass first point guard, Blake excels at setting up his Pro Lane teammates. He’s quick on the ball and able to get into dangerous areas on the floor to create in the half-court. In the games I watched he was forcing help defenders to step in on him before quickly dishing it off to an open man. Made good decisions out in transition and also utilized his quickness on the defensive end to pressure opposing guards.

Yet another tough-minded player for the Davis Brothers Elite squad, Basich handles the ball exceptionally well, possesses very good quickness and can drill three-point shots with defenders in his face. He has a competitive spirit that fits in well with a team full of players who enjoy playing together and beating teams with higher pedigrees. Basich is on the small side, but his court vision, shooting and defensive toughness are all positives for his team.
