Theo Toepel
About Theo
Expert Analysis
Brett Pickarts | Prep Hoops Scout
Toepel is a fun prospect to watch as he is very skilled with the basketball. The six-foot-four prospect from Arrowhead did a great job of separating from his defender off the bounce with bound dribbles, and hesitation moves that allowed to score at the rim and from the mid-range. Toepel is crafty as he uses his frame well, and can hit the midpost fadeaway consistently. Theo can knockdown triples in the flow of Arrowhead’s dribble drive offense. Toepel was a driving factor to why Arrowhead was able to hang on against Fond Du Lac with his rebounding and scoring output in this matchup.

had a strong showing against a good

team on Saturday morning. The 6’4 wing excelled at getting two feet in the lane, where he can either power his way to the basket, or hit a turnaround jumper. Even when defended by length he’s able to bump his defender to get a bit of separation, and then showed a high release point to get his shots off. He never looked sped up by anything the defense threw at him, and put together an efficient scoring performance while doubling as a strong rebounder on the defensive end of the floor.
