Expert Analysis
Mark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
Hans can get it going offensively at times and when he does so, it usually results in trouble for opponents. The physically strong wing guard can get into the lane to create scoring chances for both himself and his teammates, and he can swish three-point shots as well, using his size and skill to shoot over defenders. On defense, Hans can guard different positions because of his size and mobility. He is poised to develop into one of the top players in the Midwest Classic Conference for Lake Country Lutheran next season.

A combination guard who can really get it going offensively at times, Hans made three straight shots from downtown Sunday for Pro Lane Walz in its loss to 24: UP P32. Hans also showed aggressiveness in getting to the basket. He did get fouled twice on his drives, but managed to make just one of his four foul shots. Still, Hans was the second-leading scorer for his team with 10 points and showed he can heat up in a hurry while also handling the ball against pressure and defending well on the perimeter.

The craftiness Hans plays with allows him to find his spots on the floor consistently. He knows how to position himself to find scoring advantages. I like his ability to post up on smaller guards, using patience and ball fakes to score. His turnaround jumper is pretty much automatic, and thanks to a high release point, he’s tough to block. Hans can create his own shot, play off the catch, and score from all three levels.

Another solid as a rock player in the Pro Lane program, Hans is a player with size, versatility and a competitive nature. He can drill three-point shots, get into the lane off the dribble and fill the lanes in transition. He has the athleticism to become a very good rebounder as well. Hans helped Lake Country Lutheran to a 22-4 record and earned honorable mention all-Midwest Classic Conference laurels after averaging 12.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He also led the team with 42 made triples, shooting 38 percent from beyond the arc.
