In today’s game, the ability to consistently knock down shots is one of the most valuable skills a basketball player can have. Defenses are forced to adjust, teammates get more opportunities, and momentum can change with a single three-pointer. Max has built a reputation as one of the most dangerous shooters on the court, proving his ability during both the AAU season and high school competition. While his defenders know he can score with ease at the rim, he also shows them he can knock down multiple threes at any time. During AAU, he has shown how easy it is for him to score and he brought that to Appleton this weekend. He had great scoring outings with many of them coming from three.
Jones has already received offers from Toledo, Alabama A&M, Eastern Illinois, UWGB, Milwaukee, and Northern Iowa. Based on how he played in June Jam, it is reasonable to assume that Jones will continue to stack d1 offers. Max was incredible at all three levels in his game against Fort Atkinson in which he knocked down deep triples, scored efficiently from the mid range, and finished above the rim several times. Jones is a tremendous passer as well finding teammates on kickout 3s and in the dunker. Jones is running with Midwest Renegade in July.
Jones is a physical shooting guard who can make impossible shots from beyond the arc. He also can use ball fakes to get around defenders to score with his strength and athleticism at the rim. Green Bay and Milwaukee are among six NCAA Division I schools that extended a scholarship offer from the three-year varsity performer for West Allis Central. Jones made 55 three-point baskets last winter while shooting 37 percent from beyond the arc. He also averaged 20.4 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists for one of the state’s top teams.

was providing fire power offensively for Jumpman Elite. He’s one of the best long range shooters in the state’s 2027 class, and showed that confidence out beyond the arc against RWE. Going up against a team filled with future D1 players, Max was hitting some tough shots over college level length. He just has an endless level of confidence, and once he sees one or two shots fall, he can start scoring in bulk. Should be in for a big senior season after West Allis Central graduates some key players.

is another high flying, skilled, and athletic player for West Allis Central. The 6-4 junior was tremendous at all three levels for the Bulldogs. Jones hit a few stepback threes using his tight handle, was hard to contain in transition, and showcased his developed midrange game as well using his footwork to hit some pretty difficult fadeaway jumpers. Jones is receiving some interest from Division 1 programs in the MAC and will without a doubt gain more interest from other programs this spring and summer. Jones competes with Kevon Looney Power 5
in the club season.
