Saturday December 20th

Baldwin Wallace @ Capital 12:00 P.M. (Women's)

The host Capital University has a game with Baldwin Wallace to open the event, the Capital University women's basketball team started the season 8-0 and is looking for a key conference win over Baldwin Wallace, who is unbeaten in OAC play to start the season.

Big Walnut Vs Kings 2:00 P.M.

Big Walnut is one of the more talented Division II teams in Ohio with a nice mix of youth and experience. With Carson Scholl looking to take that next step for Big Walnut, he's surrounded by Stump's in the backcourt and on the sideline. They'll face a Kings team that has two seniors who are scoring in double-figures this season.

Centennial Vs Walnut Ridge 3:40 P.M.

The rare north vs south city league clash, this game has a lot of talented players. In the class of 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2139998' first='Deon' last='Johnson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2532413' first='Keon' last='Bonner'] will be key names to watch and in 2028 [player_tooltip player_id='2530331' first='Cam' last='Johnson'] and Maurice Hamrick Jr will be names to look out for in this potential city league title preview.

Africentric Vs Newark 5:30 P.M.

I actually saw this game at Ohio State's team camp and it was a dominant effort by Newark who is led by senior star [player_tooltip player_id='2374231' first='Jake' last='Quackenbush'], a Thomas More commit. Africentric has four seniors who started last season and their size and athleticism could disrupt what Newark wants to do in the half-court, guys like [player_tooltip player_id='2459115' first='Rohaun' last='Hardy'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2459113' first='Derron' last='Gray Jr'] are players to watch for the Nubians.

Olentangy Orange Vs Saint Ignatius 7:10 P.M.

Olentangy Orange lost just two games last season and one came at this event to Indy Cathedral, the Pioneers will look to get some revenge on this court against one of northeast Ohio's most talented teams. Division I targets fill the headlines with Akron commit [player_tooltip player_id='2458387' first='Rj' last='Jones'] and 2027 forward [player_tooltip player_id='2443748' first='Grant' last='Miller'] battling it out in the paint but I might be most interested in the guard battle between [player_tooltip player_id='2621329' first='Treyton' last='Schroeder'] and [player_tooltip player_id='3043989' first='Denahi' last='Melton'], that could determine who wins this highly anticipated battle.

Bishop Hartley Vs Summit Country Day 8:30 P.M.

The injury to [player_tooltip player_id='2222935' first='Tim' last='Martin'] takes a little energy out of this battle but with [player_tooltip player_id='1869632' first='Jakhi' last='Calloway'] and Lj Stocks going at it from the guard position and 6th ranked 2028 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='2195056' first='Max' last='Joiner'] helping out for Summit Country Day, there's still plenty of talent in this one.

Sunday December 21st

Pickerington North Vs Dayton Dunbar 12:00 P.M.

Pickerington North led by Concord commit Jr Bates takes on a scrappy Dayton Dunbar squad that has only lost to Pickerington Central so the Wolverines will look to get revenge on Pickerington in this contest.

Olentangy Liberty Vs Brunswick 1:40 P.M.

Olentangy Liberty has surprised some people early in the season thanks to seniors like [player_tooltip player_id='2137862' first='Carter' last='Sullivan']. Despite losing Tyler Kropp to graduation and [player_tooltip player_id='2125747' first='Jeffrey' last='Reynolds'] to transfer to prep school, the Patriots are still one of the tougher OCC teams to beat. They'll face a Brunswick squad that wants to shoot as many 3's as possible with [player_tooltip player_id='2890896' first='Drew' last='Matus'] as a name to watch for the Blue Devils.

Pickerington Central Vs Youngstown Ursuline 3:20 P.M.

A very intriguing match-up putting two of the better 2027 prospects in the OHSAA against each other in [player_tooltip player_id='2288381' first='Landon' last='Evans'] Vs [player_tooltip player_id='2144204' first='Jaylen' last='Gunther']. Pickerington Central is currently 5-0 with a big battle against Newark coming on Friday. Ursuline took a tough loss to rival Warren G Harding last week and has a big game Vs Canfield before this one.

Upper Arlington Vs New Albany 5:10 P.M.

Coach Tim Casey of New Albany gets his shot at the school he spent over two decades coaching at. New Albany is led by Toledo commit [player_tooltip player_id='1943740' first='Marco' last='Mattucci'] and they'll battle against a Golden Bears team led by guards [player_tooltip player_id='2204430' first='Hayden' last='Henry'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2125753' first='Luke' last='Mitchell'].

Westerville North Vs Lutheran East 6:50 P.M.

Two defending state champions who have teams that look very different than the ones who lifted trophies in UD Arena in March. Westerville North is led by 2027 duo [player_tooltip player_id='2140886' first='Tyson' last='Perkins'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2194389' first='Tony' last='Cornett III'] while Lutheran East has a 2027 guard duo of their own with [player_tooltip player_id='2144496' first='Chris' last='Hill'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2125763' first='Ty' last='Harrison']. Expect a lot of fireworks in this one.

Reynoldsburg Vs Lakota West 8:30 P.M.

There's been a lot of hype and buildup to this state semifinal rematch from last season as Reynoldsburg won on a last second shot by [player_tooltip player_id='1705956' first='Xavier' last='McKinney'] off a BLOB play. While Lakota West is regarded as the top team in Ohio regardless of Division, the Raiders were the last team to hand the Firebirds a loss and will look to do so again this season. Reynoldsburg has played some classic games at this event including multiple classics against Saint Ignatius so expect this game to deliver.
