This was really my first time seeing Henry in a full game this fall league and I wasn’t surprised when he was one of the standout players on the court. Henry’s varsity experience is obvious with his patience and ability to find teammates. I was also impressed with Henry’s left hand finishing ability, making a couple contested layups with that hand. I expect Upper Arlington to be a tough out this winter due to their experience returning and Henry is a key piece of the puzzle for the Golden Bears.

Henry has had a nice summer for Midwest Basketball Club MHC as his shot-making ability, defense and activity have allowed him to be productive in basically every game I’ve seen him play. Producing on a circuit like that shows your ability to play at the next level and Henry’s also adapting to playing on a grassroots team with a handful of scholarship prospects and fitting in without forcing the issue. Upper Arlington should be one of the top teams in the greater Columbus area this season and Henry is a key piece for their experienced group.

A consistent performer this weekend, Henry has knocked down shots in all three games by scoring 13 or more points in each contest. Able to play on or off the ball, Henry does a nice job of relocating to get himself open while also picking his spots to attack off the dribble. I’ve been really impressed with Henry’s consistent production this grassroots season on the offensive end.

Midwest MHC played some of the top competition at the event this weekend and battled against Ohio Buckets for the entirety of the game. I’ve seen Henry multiple times for Upper Arlington and last season with Midwest Basketball Club and I think Saturday night was his best performance I’ve seen. Henry was shooting the ball with confidence by relocating to get himself open and using his soft touch to get a friendly roll as well. Henry also had multiple lefty finishes against rim protectors and played hard on both ends of the court. Hoping to see Henry build on this performance for the rest of the grassroots season.

Henry wins the Mr Clutch award as he knocked down a 3-pointer at the end of the first quarter and hit a behind half court shot to send the Golden Bears to the locker room with a ton of momentum. In the fourth quarter, Henry had two clutch floater buckets to help Upper Arlington hold off a late push by Newark.

Upper Arlington had a few standouts throughout fall league and Henry was a player who consistently made things happen for his team. A lead guard who can create for himself off the dribble, Henry hit some pull-up 3-pointers with a hand in his face on Saturday morning. As a slasher, Henry has a variety of moves he can use including the euro-step, which I’ve noticed is a favorite of his. If the Golden Bears are going to compete in the toughest OCC division, they’ll need Henry to take a step this winter as the primary ball handler for their group.

Henry is a good player you want on your team because he always finds the open player. He does a great job of drawing the defense to him and making the right play. He is a good playmaker.

A steady point guard, Henry takes care of the ball, sets the table for his team and can catch fire in a hurry from long distance. Having some huge games with both Midwest Basketball Club and Upper Arlington this summer, Henry’s ability to knock down perimeter shots makes him a target to go off if the defense doesn’t key in on him. Henry had a huge 23 point game in the Golden Bears final regular season contest last year and should carry that momentum into his Junior season where Upper Arlington has their most talent on paper since their district title winning group in 2022.

with the space for him to operate in the areas of the court where he’s most efficient. On Thursday I thought Henry did a nice job of knocking down shots off the catch, attacking closeouts and pushing the pace. The primary ball handler for the Golden Bears also showed off his wiggle off the dribble to create space. I’d seen lots of praise for Henry’s spring performance with Midwest Basketball MHC 16 U and it was nice to catch him in person

Midwest Basketball Club – Benson 16 U impressed me on Sunday. Their team has a lot of shooters, some solid bigs and Henry was the engine of the offense. Making plays for others, Henry created off the bounce and did a nice job looking to set up his teammates first and score on the side as well. Hitting some tough shots on the perimeter as well, Henry had a complete performance on Sunday. I expect this grassroots team to win a lot of games this spring and Henry could be a breakout star in central Ohio as a Junior.
