The list of 300 players can be found here.

Mitchell, the 6-foot-7 forward who is headed to Iowa State, moved into the top spot in the 2025 class thanks to his sterling senior season.

Presented with the prestigious Mr. Basketball award from the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association at last week's state tournament, Mitchell averaged 34.7 points and 9.4 rebounds while leading Oshkosh North to a 19-10 record and a spot in the WIAA Division 1 State Tournament. He also shot 86 percent from the foul line over his four years on varsity, making 295 of 345 tries.

Fifth-ranked [player_tooltip player_id='1853648' first='Gavin' last='Gores'] of Cumberland might have been the most productive player across the board of any player in the 2025 class. The 6-foot-10 Wyoming recruit averaged 34.1 points, 14.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 blocked shots while helping the Beavers to a 21-6 record and a spot in the Division 4 sectional finals where they lost to eventual state-champion Aquinas.

Gores improved throughout his high school career and completed his four years of varsity competition with 2,360 points.

The second five in the 2025 class is almost as impressive as the first five.

Indeed, No. 6-ranked [player_tooltip player_id='1447229' first='Will' last='Garlock'] of Middleton, No. 7-ranked [player_tooltip player_id='1351718' first='Aaron' last='Womack'] of Dominican, No. 8-ranked [player_tooltip player_id='1481176' first='Chris' last='Davis Jr.'] of Sun Prairie East, No. 9-ranked [player_tooltip player_id='1390441' first='Devin' last='Brown'] of Milwaukee Academy of Science and No. 10-ranked [player_tooltip player_id='1412882' first='Luka' last='Momcilovic'] of Pewaukee could give the first five a run for their money in an All-Star game.

Garlock, a 6-foot-11 forward and Wisconsin recruit, missed the first two months of the season while recovering from a foot injury. A blur with the ball in his hands, Edwards relentlessly attacked the basket all season for Carmen Northwest and earned Player of the Year honors in the Gold Division of the Milwaukee City Conference.

No. 14 [player_tooltip player_id='1289064' first='Elijah' last='Griffin'] (6-2) of Westosha Central. He will play at NJIT in the fall and hopes to bring his physical, tough-minded approach to a program that competes in the America East Conference.

A few of the top players in the state remain uncommitted and could very well end up at scholarship-level programs. That list includes No. 13 [player_tooltip player_id='1481178' first='Cooper' last='Jesperson'] of Eau Claire Memorial, No. 15 [player_tooltip player_id='1300316' first='Myles' last='Herro'] of Whitnall, No. 22 [player_tooltip player_id='1240337' first='Jake' last='Hansen'] of Wauwatosa West, No. 23 [player_tooltip player_id='1390442' first='Agape' last='Keys Jr.'], of Academy of Science and No. 25 [player_tooltip player_id='1500914' first='Jaydon' last='Awe'] of Stevens Point.

Going back to the stellar career of Daoust, the 6-foot-1 guard from Southern Door completed his career with 3,096 points to move into second place on the all-time scoring list. The UW-Stevens Point recruit comes in at No. 27 in the Prep Hoops Player Rankings and averaged 32.3 ppg as a senior.

The impressive depth in the 2025 class shines through when you consider no less than 14 additional players have accepted scholarships from NCAA Division II programs. That grouping includes:

No. 16 [player_tooltip player_id='1412881' first='AJ' last='Bender'] of Lake Mills to Minnesota State-Mankato.

No. 17 [player_tooltip player_id='1244808' first='Brooks' last='Hinson'] of Marshfield to Northern Michigan.

No. 18 [player_tooltip player_id='1156904' first='Drew' last='Murphy'] of Verona to Northern Michigan.

No. 19 [player_tooltip player_id='1908410' first='Pryce' last='Gregoire'] of De Pere to Northern Michigan.

No. 21 [player_tooltip player_id='1435902' first='Trevor' last='Polite'] of Homestead to Northern Michigan.

No. 24 [player_tooltip player_id='1412884' first='Andrew' last='Rader'] of Notre Dame to Minnesota-Duluth.

No. 26 [player_tooltip player_id='1432805' first='Zach' last='Behn'] of Kewaskum to Parkside.

No. 29 [player_tooltip player_id='1598980' first='Matthew' last='Buckman'] of Cambridge to Hillsdale.

No. 30 [player_tooltip player_id='1272671' first='Anthony' last='Rise'] of Brookfield Central to Hawaii-Hilo.

No. 33 [player_tooltip player_id='1544731' first='Logan' last='Zahour'] of Cedarburg to Parkside.

No. 37 [player_tooltip player_id='2111727' first='Jesse' last='Napgezek'] of Wausau East to University of Mary.

No. 50 Liam Lubkeman of Westosha Central to Parkside.

No. 52 [player_tooltip player_id='2224523' first='Logan' last='Sipple'] of Shawano to Bemidji State.

No. 57 [player_tooltip player_id='2492746' first='Justin' last='Bleisner'] of Homestead to Michigan Tech.

At the WIAA State Tournament, [player_tooltip player_id='1815635' first='Isaiah' last='Robinson'] of Racine Park proved he is a likely scholarship player with the incredible defense he played in the Panthers' two contests. He finished with eight steals in the D2-title game loss to Wauwatosa West to set a single-game tournament record and had 15 steals in two games to set another record.

[player_tooltip player_id='1390441' first='Devin' last='Brown'] came close to setting at D3 record for most rebounds in a game as he had 19 to help Academy of Science past Freedom in the D3 title game. He likely could have gotten closer to the record of 24 set by Jeff Wolf in 1976 had he been able to finish the game. Brown went out of the game for good with an ankle injury with just under six minutes left.
