Mark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
The lone returning starter from a club that went 22-4, Womack has taken on a huge load for Dominican during his fourth year of varsity competition, and the Syracuse recruit has delivered. Despite being double teamed at times and always being the top focus of opponents, Womack is averaging 29.2 points, 10.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists while leading the Knights to a 9-4 record. Womack is a cerebral player with outstanding length and athleticism to go with deep shooting range.

Despite not feeling well and coming off an emotional 77-76 Metro Classic Conference loss Friday night to Racine Lutheran, Womack still managed to get 37 points against a really good team in Lodi. He scored off the bounce with his length and also from deep as he made three triples, More than anything, though, Womack was a demon on the glass and also got fouled repeatedly as he made 12 of 18 foul shots. Womack’s skill, length, court demeanor and upside as he gains more weight and adds more strength make him a player to watch now and well into the future.

have an off game. He’s one of the most consistently productive players in the state, and has been for the past three years. On Thursday he helped power Dominican to a big win over Milwaukee Juneau behind 28 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists. Now much more than just a shooter, he was weaving through defenders to get to the rim, where he does a nice job of playing off two feet and going up balanced to finish through traffic. The Syracuse commit sees the floor well, and does a nice job of utilizing his 6’6 frame to zip in passes over the top of the defense, and can also launch deep outlet passes off a defensive rebound leading to easy transition buckets.

Aaron was doing a little bit of everything during the win for Dominican on Monday night. He was cutting hard off the ball for easy looks inside, beating defenders out of the block, finishing in the open floor, and facing up for some mid-range jumpers over size. His long frame and release point allow him to get up shots over just about anyone at the high school level. I also liked his unselfishness and passing vision. He did a great job of seeing the floor out of the post and finding his teammates cutting to the basket in a win over The Prairie School.

Mr. Smooth is a fun player to watch. His upside is off the charts as he continues to grow into his body and add weight/strength, and his versatility on both ends of the court is a major asset for coach Steve Showalter at Dominican. Womack has stellar length, a smooth shooting stroke and almost effortless verticality that often leads to block/altered shots or ripping down of rebounds off the rim. The Syracuse recruit can score inside and outside, and is coming off a strong junior season where he averaged 21.9 points and 9.4 rebounds. Womack is the lone returning starter for Dominican so he’ll need to shoulder a big leadership role for the Knights in 2024-25.

A three-year starter entering his senior season, Womack is one of the state’s more highly sought after class of 2025 prospects. His size, length, skill and upside are all extremely impressive. At 6-foot-6 and able to score from outside the arc, off the dribble and in the post, Womack is a strong offensive weapon. He averaged 21.9 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists as a junior, helping Dominican to a 22-4 record. Defensively, Womack can guard different spots on the court and is one of the top shot blockers in the state, swatting 74 shots last season. Womack, who has added strength to his long frame, is a three-time first-team all-Metro Classic Conference performer, a strong student and a solid leader for coach Steve Showalter’s squad. He has multiple NCAA DI offers and has scheduled an official visit to Murray State. Buffalo, Green Bay, Illinois-Chicago, Illinois State, Milwaukee, Southern Utah and William & Mary also have extended offers to Womack, who begins his senior season with 1,520 career points.
