joins Bolden to essentially give Nicolet two lead guards on the court. Bolden’s biggest assets are his physical strength and mental toughness. He simply doesn’t back down from any challenge and gives 110 percent each second he is on the court. The NCAA Division I recruit for NJIT of the American East Conference averaged 12.3 points and 5.8 rebounds as a junior, but his value on the court goes well beyond his statistics, thanks to his intense desire to compete and win.

Bolden is one of the more promising seniors entering the 2024-2025 season.
The quick witted guard has the ability to control the floor on the offensive end and we can expect him to continue to distribute the ball at a high level.
Bolden made a lot of noise over the summer while playing on the Adidas 3SSB circuit with Power 5. He recently accepted an offer from Division 1 NJIT. His experience and vocal leadership will lead the way in the coming season.

Bolden put it all together over the spring/summer for Kevin Looney Power 5, exhibiting his toughness, grittiness and ability to run a team against top-level competition. He also used his strength and confidence off the dribble to get into the lane and score or dish off to his talented teammates. Bolden’s strong play on the circuit resulted in a couple of scholarship offers from Horizon League schools as both Milwaukee and Wright State offered the point guard. He also had a strong junior season for Nicolet, helping the Knights to a 24-5 record, the North Shore Conference title and a spot in the WIAA Division 2 State Tournament. He averaged 10.3 points, 3.9 points and 4.8 assists in 2023-24.

With KL Power 5 David has shown his ability to act as a facilitator when playing around plenty of talent. Last weekend with Nicolet he showed he’s also more than capable as a scorer. Bolden is so shifty with the ball in his hands, and made opposing guards look like they were moving in slow-motion as he got by them effortlessly. Able to create space to get off his own shot with ease, and was knocking them down consistently from both three and mid-range.

Bolden fits in so well with a Power 5 team loaded with talent. He doesn’t need to score to be effective, and it showed in a win over ABC Young Lions where he was dropping dimes to set up his teammates. Has tremendous vision in the open floor to hit his wings/forwards for dunks, but can also create in the half-court. When penetrating the lane he always kept his eyes scanning the floor for any open teammate, and he was able to make passes from angles that not every guard can. When he wasn’t dishing out assists to his teammates, Bolden was hitting the three at a high clip.
