, among others, Jesperson kept his team in the game with his skill of making shots from well beyond the three-point arc. He had five of his six three-point baskets after intermission and each make seemed deeper on the court. He also had a great dribble, drive and pivot that shed a defender and resulted in a short bank shot in the lane. Jesperson also had 19 points and five triples in the Old Abes’ 70-59 loss to Appleton North. At 6-foot-4 and with his ability to make shots, Jesperson is perhaps the best uncommitted senior in the state.

A game-changing all-around talent, Jesperson will impact every facet of the game whenever he steps on the hardwood. Last season, he put up big offensive numbers, averaging 20.3 points per game, solidifying his reputation as an exceptional scorer. A significant piece of this was his effectiveness from deep, draining a strong 36% of shots from three-point land. His skill with the ball doesn’t stop with scoring, having posted an impressive 4.3 assists per game. His court vision and savvy equate to a highly effective ability to find teammates and get them the rock in a position to score.
He also stayed active without the ball in his hands last season, recording 2.4 steals and 4.5 rebounds per game. Stepping into his senior year with the Old Abes, Jesperson is expected to continue his run as an all-around standout performer.
