About Jack
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my play style to be mostly around defensive. I’m a shooting guard but do to my teams undersized players I have to play center. It’s challenging guarding centers but I stand my ground while still being able to guard shifty guards. On offense I am an exceptional passer who will knock down open shots. I’m also very aggressive at the rim wether it’s to get rebounds or to make layups.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality is to play with all I got. I genuinely think I’m one of the hardest working kids out there. I will dive for balls. In addition I’m more than capable to make friends and help my teammates.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’m looking to become a sports journalist so I do stuff around photography and media. I did unified basketball wich I will do again. Unified basketball is basketball in which people like me help special ed kids play basketball. I love art a ton. I also played volleyball and football for my school.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’m a caring very mature young man. I love teamwork and know if I should fall into a leader or follower type of roll. I am super creative in my option. I also think I’m quite the comedian.
What type of college are you looking for?
Syracuse for sports media and journalism.

Clayton Conover | Prep Hoops Scout
Rossow brought proactive defensive instincts against drivers, quick to get both hands on the ball for steals or jump balls. The guard was quick to push the pace in transition, actively getting up the floor once possession was secured. His urgency made him the recipient of numerous outlet passes, working hard to be an option in transition.
