On multiple occasions at the 16U level, Perry erupted for a volley of threes, providing constant offense for 5280. Bringing a fairly quick release off the catch or while stepping into the shot, he makes the most of his opportunities. Once opponents began to realize his scoring ability, they tended to go over on screens, opening up the rest of the lane for him. His continued growth as a playmaker with the ball will be imperative towards his opportunities at the varsity level, although he has a serviceable ability at this stage.

Perry lit up the floor on Day 2, knocking down somewhere around 8 threes in one of his games. The guard can heat up in a hurry, getting his money’s worth from this past weekend. Putting up in the ballpark of 80 points throughout 4 games, he rose to the occasion with multiple key names out for 5280 this past weekend. Effective operating out of ball screens to set up rollers or read the defense to score on his own accord, the guard certainly made his presence felt throughout this past weekend.
