Robinson is a player that we’ve watched a few times this summer, and we know that he’s a piece that Cherry Creek will need to be good if they want to make a deep push. He’s going to be a catalyst for Creek this year as they need some steadiness, and he provides that. At times, he becomes a scoring option as he’s an aggressive defender that plays hard on that end of the floor, and that effort turns into offense for him on breaks, steals and coast-to-coast finishes. He has also developed as a shooter and has a reliable outside shot, which makes the defense second-guess on how to defend him. He will have to step it up even more on both ends of the floor as he steps into the season with a bigger role. He will be their defensive specialist and a player that keeps offense afloat, and I expect them to use him as a Swiss-Army-Knife option that does it all. Versatility is his calling and makes him one of the more intriguing underclassmen in the conference.

Robinson is a player that we’ve struggled with placing on a ranking because he has real upside, and his value comes from doing the little things that often don’t show up on stat sheets. And that’s not something you see too often. He’s a connector who moves the ball, makes smart reads, and provides defensive versatility. I think that is where he could be the biggest difference-maker, and he will even be able to get baskets from his hustle and work on that end of the floor. Offensively, he appears to have made a jump as he can shoot the three, finish in traffic, or handle guard duties in stretches. We saw him stand out on multiple occasions this summer at both games in grassroots and showcases. His IQ and team-first mindset make him a trusted piece, and I expect him to have a significant role for Creek this upcoming season. He’s a strong candidate to rise as he’s in a prove-it spot.

Robinson impressed at the showcase with size and versatility. He punished smaller guards on the block with a back-to-the-basket game, yet showed he could also handle the ball a bit more than expected as well. He scored efficiently, created mismatches, and did the little things to help his team get wins, and had chemistry with teammates as he plays the right way. Robinson’s blend of strength and skill checked plenty of boxes, making him a player worth following, and he gets better on every showing.

What we know:
We know that Tristan is a player who will be allowed to make plays happen this year for Creek, and I am expecting him to have a big year. He’s going to be tasked with locking in defensively and also providing relief as a primary ballhandler as well while also doing all of the small things that separate him. Tristan plays with the top team for this age group in the state, and he’s able to make plays that lead to wins. He’s a solid passer, finisher, and shooter who spaces the floor, and we want to see more of that.
What we’d like to see:
We’d like to see Tristan be a defensive menace no matter who’s in front of him. He’s a high-IQ defender who can impact the game with his physicality on that end of the floor. He plays the passing lanes well, baits guards into bad passes, and defends without fouling. I want to see more of that while also being able to take on ball-handling duties and show he can make plays for others. Him looking like a true combo-guard is what we’d like to see. Easy enough.

Robinson is one of the hardest workers and toughest players in the class, and has been a catalyst on one of the state’s top 2028 AAU squads. He spaces the floor with his 3-ball, finishes in transition, and sets the tone defensively. His all-around impact and motor make him dangerous and this year he will be able to show all of that I believe. Him getting out to the showcase makes sense as it is a perfect platform for him to be himself. He can leap from the watch list into the rankings with a performance that shows his skill matches his effort, and we feel that he’s one who should surely be there.

makes his mark as a defensive stopper. With good size and discipline, he defends without fouling and embraces physical matchups. He’s tenacious on-ball, thrives in transition, and uses his athleticism to turn stops into fast-break buckets. For a Cherry Creek team that will need perimeter defenders, Robinson is the kind of player who can anchor that side of the ball.
