Duvalier Johnson | Prep Hoops Scout
Barnett has stepped up this year and has looked like one of the most important pieces for a Creek team that has shown that they could make a deep playoff push. He’s been one of the toughest players in the conference, and he gives them an identity. He competes on both ends of the floor, and the 6’5 forward is also an interchangeable piece who scores in bunches, battles for rebounds, and makes his impact defensively. He’s playing extremely well as we’ve gotten into league play. He’s a two-way force who is the glue guy for the team, and he can help his team make that push.

Barnett showed why he’s one of the most dangerous three point shooters around, making Doherty pay for giving him space. He finished with 18 points, knocking down five threes while consistently getting to his spots. When the game tightened late, he stayed active inside, securing key rebounds and making winning plays that helped seal the victory for his team

Bodhi gives Creek their identity. At 6’7, he defends multiple positions, plays tough, and competes every possession. Offensively, he shoots the 3, finishes inside, and runs the floor with purpose. He kept standing out this summer in which we finally gave in to see what he was all about. This feels like his breakout year, and I expect him to climb and command more attention as he comes in as the No. 7 X-factor in the conference.

Bodhi is tough. We loved what we saw from him this summer. On a very talented and loaded Elevation squad that was filled with names, he was a player who continued to show out for me. He just seems to make plays. Bodhi has good size at 6’7 and uses it. He defends multiple positions, plays with toughness, and competes on every possession defensively. Offensively, he can shoot the 3-ball and got more aggressive as the summer went along, they run plays to get him open, and he was able to get going inside as well with soft touch around the rim, and he grabs boards and goes right back up. I like how he runs the floor and scores as well moves without the ball. As soon as he gets his feet set, it’s lights out. We like what we saw out of Bodhi this summer for his grassroots team as well as at multiple showcases. I think this is a season he breaks out in, and more attention comes his way. He makes the jump in the rankings and becomes a player to watch.

is the fifth-ranked forward in his class due to his space creation and shot-making abilities. Barnett is as versatile as it gets, slashing through his matchup and making the most of open looks. Defending the paint comes easily for the 6’6 wing, elevating to contest shots and recognizing when to rotate over to the help side.

Bodhi is a pure shooter with a smooth stroke and deep range, coming off a strong summer heading into his junior year. As he continues to grow into his frame, there’s clear potential for added size and strength that will elevate his all-around impact. Barnett excels at stretching defenses with his ability to shoot from well beyond the arc. He’s always shot-ready, navigating off the ball with purpose and consistently finding soft spots in opposing defenses. His offensive IQ and movement make him a reliable perimeter threat. Defensively, Barnett uses his length to impact the game — blocking shots, rotating from the weak side, and contesting without fouling. He’s also a willing rebounder who helps close out possessions with effort and anticipation.

Bodhi was a summer standout for Elevation Flyers and after a stellar summer, I firmly believe he’s a player that many will be knowing more about this upcoming season. He’s so comfortable with the ball in his hands as a scorer but also a facilitator that gets to wherever he wants on the court. He has an inside-out game, can play both on and off of the ball and when he’s hot, it will be tough for players to slow him down. He’s a player that will catch many by surprise this year as he did with us this summer and a big showing will confirm what we’ve been seeing – that he’s a player that schools should be knocking on the door for. He should come to Expo and get more film on him.

Barnett wasn’t ranked last time around, but his strong summer and impact on a stacked Elevation Flyers squad earned him a spot. At 6’5″, he has the size to bang inside and the touch to hit from deep. I like his inside game and ability to compete. He battles. Cherry Creek will be asking new players to step up, and Bodhi is poised for a breakout. Expect one of the biggest jumps in this class, as I feel that he’s ready to surprise a lot of people this year.

is a defensive onslaught, always causing disruptions in passing lanes. Barnett is always locked in on the game, and not to mention he can shoot the rock at will. When Barnett goes on a hot streak, the opponents should be worried.
