He dominated in multiple Prep Hoops tourneys, had his way at Metro Camp, picking up an offer there, was arguably the best player at the UNC camp with multiple schools offering and creating a buzz, and then went and helped [program_tooltip program_id='2955433' first='Colorado' last='Collective'] make a deep run in the NXT Pro 16 circuit. This was a coming-out party, and it seems as if there are more offers on the way. I've been big on saying that it looks like he's playing a different game than almost every other player in the state. He's patient, calm, and delivers each time out while doing plenty of things that lead to winning. Brody is one of the top players in the state right now, and everyone else has caught on.

Cobb makes a significant jump in the rankings and lands in the Top-10 after the summer that he's had. There were questions about his motor leading into the summer, and also doubts about him being able to consistently dominate on both ends in big games for the duration of the game, and he quieted all doubters with how he performed all summer long. Cobb checks off plenty of boxes that you want to see at the next level. He's got size, is one of the most athletic players in the state, and he also showed that he can hit the 3-ball at a consistent clip. Cobb created a buzz for himself out of state and created a buzz amongst college coaches, where they reached out wanting to know more by doing a lot of what we see. He got out in transition and turned it into highlight dunks, set screens, and rolled where he got downhill, and also popped at times and showed that he could space the floor. I personally like how engaged he looked defensively. He'a matching other bigs physicality, blocking shots at the rim, and showing off his improved motor. This was a big summer for him, and we have to reward that. Expect to see more offers coming his way in the coming days.

Ellwood also makes a pretty big jump in the rankings, and he's now in the Top 20 after having a solid season and being one of the biggest reasons that Rock Canyon hoisted the trophy. Ellwood is the floor general and leader on the floor, and he plays with a chip each time out. He finds the open man, he puts a ton of pressure on defense,s and is a momentum-changing finisher around the basket as well. Ellwood gives them their swagger and looks better each time we see them. When Collective played in our tourneys, there were times when he looked like the best player on the floor just because of how effective he is. We watched him play at NXT Pro and make a run, and there were some of those same flashes. A very underrated part of his game is his defense, which I feel is wildly underrated, and I feel like Rock Canyon certainly has a chance to repeat with the pieces that they bring back, but most importantly their PG. Solid year for him.

Connors makes a small jump in the rankings, and this one is for me personally. He comes down and plays in all of the Prep Hoops events, he gets out to showcases and proves that he belongs. Connors is who I feel can put a bid in for one of the top shooters in the state. He has range, he creates for himself off the dribble, and is a knockdown shooter as well. This summer, we got to see him at the UNC Camp and for Premier, and it was a different role, which shows his expanded game. He was putting the ball on the floor and showing he could navigate defenses from the guard spot while making plays for others, which is much different than the off-ball role that we typically see from him. We hope he continues getting out and putting his name out there at showcases as he heads into an important senior season that will need to see him do more. We also want to see him lead that Palmer Ridge team to more wins.

Coleman makes his return to the rankings as he heads to Chaparral. The last time that we saw him play in CHSAA it was on a state championship team, and he could be the deciding factor on if Chaparral can bring it all home this year. Coleman is highly regarded as the best on-ball defender in the state and has had flashes of proving that. He certainly created some of those moments for Mountain Stars this summer on their circuit as the guy that they put on the opposing team's best player, and he shuts them down, and Chap will need that same effort. We also saw him play with them at the UNC camp and had to take on more of a lead guard and scoring role without Howery, as well as at Colorado Live, and he showed flashes. Coleman will be asked to do a ton more offensively, and they'll rely on him to be that extra scoring option. The good thing is they give him the free range to explore his game and show that he can be a contributor on that end. He goes back into the Top 15 of the rankings with room to rise; we just have to see more of it.

Barnett moves up 20+ spots from the last set of rankings with how much he's grown as a prospect. He's picked up offers and interest at the next level because of all of the boxes that he checks off. He's a 6'7 sniper from deep with range, he moves well off-ball, and creates plenty of gravity on that Creek squad. We saw him have solid performances at both the UNC Camp and Metro State Camp, which earned him an offer. He also went out to Section 7 and was a bright spot for Creek, where we received calls about his games. Barnett plays hard; he rebounds well and is a versatile defender. He's not a player who hunts too many shots, but it doesn't take too much for him to get going, and we're curious to see how creative Creek is with him this upcoming season. Barnett will certainly play at the next level and is only getting better, and that is why he had such a significant leap.

We have showcase season coming up, and with the end of club scene coming quickly, rankings, and showcases here, now is the perfect time to lock in with a subscription.
