just had an electric game to get Denver South back on a win streak. Shooting 60% from three, along with 17 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Shepherd’s bag is multifasceted, having a soft touch around the rim while knocking down deep-range bombs. The 6’3 guard changes pace when he dribbles and gets momentum on his side easily. Once Shepherd is activated, he’s a hard scorer to slow down. Newly ranked as the #2 guard in the class of 2027, Shepherd is beginning to figure out his signature recipe, and he’s ready to cook.

Shepherd is a player who just looks different than almost every single player in the state. It almost doesn’t look right. He’s a poised and polished player who plays at his own pace. He understands time and possession, and a lot of his work is done early. He moves without the ball, extends defenses with his outside shot, and shines with the ball in his hands. The next step is being more aggressive, as South benefits from his attacking a bit more. South dropped two close games, and that possibly changes with him being in attack-mode. He’s capable of some huge games, but we want them to come consistently. We see a player in Brody that has a chance to rise even more, and think he has a big season ahead of him. He comes in at the No.4 player in the conference.

Shepherd is calm and collected down the stretch, ready for the guard to be a clutch shotmaker should Team 3 need any hail mary’s down the stretch. Far from just a scorer, the guard has repeatedly proven his value under different circumstances when needed to facilatate for corner shooters and baseline slashers.
