Ryan Garland

Ryan Garland is a Colorado native, who is a sportswriter and videographer. Before becoming a writer Ryan coached briefly in high school helping former East High School star Brian Howard run elementary and middle school camps for Basketball Tao. In the winter of 2018, Ryan saw a niche in the market as no one was filming the high school basketball Ryan Garland is a Colorado native, who is a sportswriter and videographer. In the winter of 2018, Ryan saw a niche in the market as no one was filming the high school basketball players in Colorado. He then started Colorado Hoops, a social media page that provides highlights for Colorado players and teams. After traveling with Billups Elite to the Adidas Gauntlet for the 2019 AAU season Ryan started writing with Prep Hoops during that fall. Since 2019 he has provided film for players, teams, and events all around Colorado and out of state. Born and raised in Redwood City, California, then moved to Colorado for the next chapter of my life, specifically college. I have a little experience with basketball since making my way to this beautiful state. I have worked as an assistant coach for the AAU team Hoops Academy, interned at Metropolitan State Uni @ Denver for Game Operations.
