About Jack

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a versatile two-way player who impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Offensively, I like to attack the basket, utilize my floater in traffic, knock down shots, and create opportunities for my teammates by finding the open man and making the right plays. Defensively, I take pride in guarding both the perimeter and interior with energy and toughness, and showing hustle through loose balls.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I bring a competitive, team-first mentality to my team. I approach basketball with discipline, composure, and a strong work ethic. I take pride in playing with intensity on both sides of the floor, doing anything to help my teammates succeed. My mindset is centered around outworking opponents in effort, toughness, and decision making.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes at school, and I am an honors student.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and time-management skills through basketball as well as other experiences. I’ve learned the importance of accountability, discipline, and supporting others while working towards a common goal. These experiences have also helped me build resilience, coachability, and a strong work ethic both on and off the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that offers a balance between academics and athletics, where I can continue developing as both a student and basketball player. I value a competitive, team-oriented environment with coaches who emphasize hard work, discipline, and personal growth. I am also looking for a supportive community that will challenge me academically while providing opportunities to succeed.
