This season's SCBCA All-State teams once again highlight the depth of the region, featuring players who led their teams and made a major impact throughout the year. Here's a look at the selections from the 803 who earned All-State recognition.

First up among the All-State Players from the 803 Area Code is [player_tooltip player_id='2313892' first='Chanze' last='Allen']. Allen was a massive piece to the puzzle for Fox Creek this season, transferring in to join the Predators during the offseason. He put up 13.2 points per game, 6.2 rebounds per game, and 1.9 steals per game, winning the Region 4-3A Player of the Year Award, and helping lead the school to their first State Championship Appearance since 2015.

Levi was named Region 4-4A Player of the Year, along with earning All-State honors this season. His numbers might not be glaring, but his combination of consistency, efficiency, and a well-rounded game is what made him such a valuable player for Gray Collegiate. He shot it at over 55% from the field and 40% from three, and he certainly projects as someone who can help win games at the next level.

Another easy choice for the SCBCA All-State Team from the Columbia area is Bell. Justus led the Silver Foxes at 19.5 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game, easily winning the Region 4-5A Player of the Year Award. He was a difficult matchup for most teams in the region, combining a stout interior presence with improved perimeter skills.

Hampton County was one of the few teams that had multiple All-State players this year, with Darius being the first up in this list. He was their leading scorer this season at 16.1 points per game, doing so with solid athleticism and a strong frame. Brooks' game was built to excel in Class 2A, but that doesn't mean he can be an impact player in the college game, too.

[player_tooltip player_id='1486213' first='BJ' last='Brown'] had one of the best senior seasons of the decade, so far. Region 5-5A was arguably the most talented in the entire state, but BJ was clearly the best player every night as he put up 25.3 points per game on 52% field goal shooting and 43% three-point field goal shooting. Even if you took out his career-high 47-point night against Westwood in February, he probably still makes this list pretty easily.

If there was one, Mark would be up for All-Defense Team along with his All-State pick. He blocked two and a half shots a game this season, while also averaging a double-double with points and rebounds. Caslaru's length as a factor in each and every game, but his growth offensively to match his defensive dominance is what earned him recognition among the best in the state.

A sophomore Shooting Guard from the Midlands who made a SCBCA All-State team is Antoine. After a breakout freshman season, he followed it up with a stellar second year, where he saw much more volume and playmaking responsibilities. Among the other awards he added to the mantle this season are Region 4-3A Player of the Year and 1,000 Career Points.

Clark is one of the most off-the-radar players in this list. Playing for 1A Branchville High School, which has a reported attendance of just 320 students, Zion was able to make his name known outside of just his small town. He did so through a near state-leading 5.4 steals per game, along with a very impressive 19.4 points per game. Clark is as savvy as they come, on both ends of the floor, as was rightly honored with a spot on the 2025-26 All-State team this year.

Speaking of near state-leading numbers, that's exactly what Clyburn did on the glass this season. He put up a dominant 15.3 rebounds per game in his senior year, dominating the boards on both ends of the floor each and every time he took to the floor. Although he has solid size, there are plenty of bigger and more athletic players than Zeke in the state, so it was quite impressive to see the numbers he put up on a nightly basis.

The 5A Division 2 State Champs had two players named to the SCBCA All-State team. One of them was Crews, their primarily off-ball guard who can fill it up with jumpers in a hurry. That's what he did not only in the Championship Game, but the entire season long. Jayden was also a surprisingly good rebounder, which proved to be important for the Redhawks for stretches throughout the season.

Although I didn't get to see Jalen in person this season, I watched some of his film and was extremely impressed by the junior guard. He did it all for the Lions, putting up team highs in points per game (19.1), rebounds per game (5.2), assists per game (3.3), and steals per game (3.1) in a strong Class A Region.

RJ took a massive step this season, going from a fringe starter/role player in 2024-25 to a star player and All-State honoree in 2025-26. It was clear to see this was his potential from a young age, but it's still great to see him put in the work to get better during the offseason. His combination of length and athleticism is a matchup nightmare for most teams in the state, on both ends of the floor.

The only freshman to make a 2025-26 SCBCA All-State Team is [player_tooltip player_id='2566640' first='Sheldon' last='Davis']. Davis had a fantastic second season on varsity for the Knights, winning Region 5-4A Offensive Player of the Year and being named First Team All-Region. His numbers were ridiculous for any player, but when you factor in his age, Sheldon's 20.2 points per game, 8.3 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game, and 2.1 steals per game are all the more eye-catching.

There were three or four members of the C.A. Johnson Hornets who would have been worthy selections of an All-State Selection, but when you look at the numbers, Aissacc's are among the best of them.
