Sheldon Davis Sheldon Davis 6'2" | PG Crestwood | 2029 State SC is first up on the list of Combo Guards and Shooting Guards in South Carolina’s 2029 Class. Davis had a monster freshman year, putting up 20.2 points per game, 8.3 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game, and 2.1 steals per game, being named All-State, All-Region, and Region 5-4A Offensive Player of the Year. Sheldon is already one of the best guards in the state, but it could be scary how good he becomes with a major physical or developmental jump.

Davis had a fantastic second season on varsity for the Knights, winning Region 5-4A Offensive Player of the Year and being named First Team All-Region. His numbers were ridiculous for any player, but when you factor in his age, Sheldon’s 20.2 points per game, 8.3 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game, and 2.1 steals per game are all the more eye-catching.

Despite their season-ending loss, one of the positives for Crestwood should be the emergence of All-State freshman Sheldon Davis Sheldon Davis 6'2" | PG Crestwood | 2029 State SC . Davis had an excellent season in Sumter, and it was great to see him rise to the occasion in this intense playoff game. He played a crucial role in their third-quarter comeback, knocking down three threes in the period as they trimmed a 13-point halftime deficit down to just one heading to the fourth quarter. He finished the game with 20 points on 5 3PM, doing so in a variety of ways: off designed sets, pull-ups in the pick-and-roll, stepbacks, in transition, and from deep range. Sheldon is the younger brother of former Crestwood Knight Shannon Davis, who will begin his College Basketball Career at Francis Marion University in the Fall. Sheldon had two very nice games on Day Two, putting up 13 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals against North Myrtle Beach and 16 points and 5 rebounds against Westminster Catawba. Davis is a gifted scorer who has a great mid-range game, is comfortable with floaters, and can finish with either hand. Sheldon is still learning how to be a true Point Guard at the High School level, but once that comes he will be special.
