Kai is arguably the best shooter of this group. He combines high-volume shot-making with an excellent feel for playmaking. Lowery also leads like a true Point Guard should – with both his play and his voice. When you watch him play against other freshmen, Kai is clearly one of the best on the floor. However, when you watch him against older and more experienced players, he looks just as comfortable running an offense. Look out for him to have a big Spring with Twelve Time .

Running the one for the Trojans was Lowery. It took him a little bit to get going offensively, but once he got a pick-six transition layup, he turned up the heat offensively and went for 12 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals in the 51-48 win. Kai has one of the tighter handles in the 2029 class, and that was crucial late in the game as Nation Ford pressed Northwestern. He also hit a pair of threes, including one from the top of the key during a crucial third-quarter run. Lowery’s ability to efficiently hit perimeter shots will be important as he develops as an interior finisher, but there’s no doubt he will be able to make plays at a high level over the next four years.
