Eli is the first of two new names that I learned in this part of the Film Room. He is a nice, left-handed guard who plays well at speed and isn’t afraid to mix it up in the paint on either end of the floor. His highlights showed a consistent volume of paint touches, both in the half-court and in transition. Scott will also crash the glass and is comfortable finishing around bodies, so as he improves as a facilitator and jump shooter, he could be a really good player.
