Expert Analysis
Andrew Baxley | Prep Hoops Scout
Webb and the Yellow Jackets were able to avenge their loss in the State Championship Game a year ago, making it back to the final and lifting the trophy this time around. He was one of their most impactful players all season because of his two-way skills. Quh’Mareon’s length, speed, defensive desire, and unselfish playmaking are all things that stand out when you watch him play.

. Webb fits this category less so because of his game-to-game success, but more so because of his personality in relation to the rest of his team. Quh’mareon is more of a quiet, consistent presence for this Yellow Jacket team. He’s not a guy who will be loud and intense, but he just goes about his business each and every game. That was exactly the case in the 4A State Championship Game, as he went for a team-high 21 points along with some crucial defensive effort. Webb was also the guy who sealed it with a breakaway dunk, where he let out as much emotion as you will see from him as the Yellow Jackets won their first-ever State Championship.

. North Augusta got off to a stellar 19-0 start in the win over Daniel and Webb was a huge part of it. His hands were super active and he filled good lanes in transition. Quh’mareon was also lively on the offensive end, cutting hard to the rack and setting screens for others to get open. He has a deep bag to get his own bucket including crossovers and hesitation moves to get defenders off balance and he’s more than capable of knocking down shots too. Webb put up 11 points, 5 assists, and 5 steals in Game Two.

. Webb is now in 4A Region 4 with North Augusta High School after starting his career at Catawba Ridge. He was a great third option for the Copperheads in his Sophomore Season averaging 9.4 Points Per Game on 51% Field Goals, although it is hard to project his new role because we didn’t see him in June. Webb is good with the ball his hands getting downhill for paint touches where he can finish around bodies or find teammates, but he can also spot up off the ball to knock down threes with his left-handed stroke. Quh’mareon also works on the glass on the defensive end and likes to push the pace after grabbing a board.
