First up is Milton McCray Milton McCray 6'4" | CG C.A. Johnson | 2027 State SC , who put up some video from the Glymph Fall League for review. McCray is one of the more gifted scorers in South Carolina’s 2027 Class, and he looked just like it on tape. He is a tough shot maker, which was displayed with several off-the-dribble threes and a few nice finishes at the rim. His combination of size and athleticism also makes him a factor in transition, where he looks to finish above the rim. Milton had a few nice passes to open shooters, but the balance of that with the elite scoring is what will take his game to a high level.

The reigning Class A Player of the Year looked very good in practice Tuesday morning. Milton continued to find a rhythm as practice went on, showing an improved feel for getting others involved while also knocking down shots at an efficient rate. There is no doubting McCray’s offensive gifts, but if he continues to excel as an all-around player, he will be a Division 1 basketball player one day.
