Expert Analysis
Andrew Baxley | Prep Hoops Scout
Anderson is back in the Palmetto State with C.A. Johnson. He had two excellent performances as the defending 1A Champs 1-1 in front of me on Wednesday, putting up 18 points and 7 rebounds in game one, followed by 13 points and 8 rebounds. Although Jeremy will be a strong interior presence for the Hornets most of this season with offensive rebounding and shot blocking, he also showed some polish to his game with perimeter shooting and buckets off the dribble.

Anderson is a talented offensive wing from the Columbia Area. He is a confident scorer from all three levels and can create for himself off the dribble or spot up in the corners to provide spacing. Jeremy is very comfortable with the ball in his hands and is also a good passer. He had some important games at Nike Peach Jam with Team USC and should have a large role for the Yellow Jackets this winter.

Anderson and his Yellow Jackets took the loss today here in the MLK Bash. The left-handed Anderson finished with 8 rebounds in the game. Jeremy has shown flashes at times for the Yellow Jackets where he could be that next good one to come out of the Irmo HS program.
Anderson looks to be part of the future plans here of the Yellow Jackets.

Anderson a left-handed forward has the ability to play inside-out on the floor. Jeremy was able to set shop at times from the corners with his game. He has a good skill set when it comes to passing, handling and simply scoring the ball. Anderson will get his turn this season on the Yellow Jackets roster after winning a Class 4A State Championship a season ago.
