August Rankings Update: New 2027s Inside the Top 100

After gaining valuable exposure and competing against high-level talent, these players have earned their first appearance inside the Top 100. Here's a look at the new names joining the rankings in the August update.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    [player_tooltip player_id='2381316' first='Seeger' last='Medalie'] leads off the list of New 2027s to the Prep Hoops South Carolina Rankings. He isn't technically a new name because he spent his first two high school years in the Palmetto State before playing his junior year at Moravian Prep (NC). Medalie was ranked #29 in SC before his departure, and now returns at #16 because of his exciting combination of size and shooting.     Just like Medalie, Anderson returned home for his senior year after spending one season outside of the state. He played for West Oaks Academy (FL) in 2025-26, but is now at a new SC school, C.A. Johnson. Jeremy will easily be one of the most dominant players in Class 1A this season, and he recently received an offer from Paine College.     Allmon is one of my favorite off-the-radar prospects in South Carolina's senior class. Jackson first caught my eye at a Phenom Hoops Event in late July, but I was extremely impressed looking back at his high school numbers and tape. He has great positional size at 6'5", plus is capable of doing a variety of things to provide versatility in the backcourt or on the wing, including knocking down jumpers, making plays off the bounce, and working hard on the defensive end.     Another incoming transfer who makes this list after impressing in June is Scott. He burst onto the scene with Lee Central at the Francis Marion Team Camp, displaying an elite combination of shooting and playmaking. Ti-Zhier has deep range, is very comfortable pulling the trigger off the dribble, and can set up teammates in many different ways, all of which will make him one of the best guards in Class 1A this year.     Tucker has all the makings of a true late bloomer for the Powdersville Patriots. Crick has been a decent piece for them over the past two years, but he's taken a big jump this summer and should have in-state schools all over him with a big senior year. At 6'6", his ability to stretch the to floor the perimeter is the main calling card, but he also has a strong frame that he is learning how to use to dominate closer to the rim.     Checking in at #100 to round out the first list of new additions is [player_tooltip player_id='3683854' first='Brishawn' last='Young']. Young was impressive in his first month with Dorman after transferring from Spartanburg, and he looks primed to step into a starting role for the Cavaliers. Brishawn brings a high motor whenever he's on the floor, which translates to rebounding, rim running, and transition activity that fits in great next to elite guards.    <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   Want to boost your ranking?
