The first wing to know from day one of the Coastal Carolina Team Camp is Seegar Medalie. Medalie is a local star at Atlantic Collegiate Academy, and this was my first look at him this summer after he transferred back to South Carolina from Moravian Prep (NC). Seegar returns as one of the best shooters in the state, and he proved it with 24 points on 4-4 3FG against Wagener-Salley. Not only was he efficient from three, but Medalie also crashed the offensive glass, was a weapon in transition, and made some plays defensively.

Medailie is a sharp shooting guard who spent this season at Moravian Prep (NC) and continues to establish himself as a perimeter threat. The junior has deep range on his jumper, with excellent shot preparation and a quick, efficient release that allows him to get shots off in a variety of situations. He is comfortable shooting off the catch or off movement, and plays with a good feel for the game.

. In his Freshman Year and the first year for the Armada as a program, Seeger averaged 5.6 Points Per Game. In 2024-25, Atlantic Collegiate will play in Class 2A Region 7 and will enter the season as one of the favorites for the State Championship with Medalie being one of the top shooters in the class. Seeger is a two-way Guard with positional size to shoot over contests and make life difficult for opponents. He is active off the ball cutting and getting open but can also handle the rock and make plays off the dribble.

Medalie and the Armada will look to jump in the SCHSL this coming fall as a Class 2A program. Seeger will be counted for his ability to make shots on the perimeter and especially from downtown. He already has good size for his age from the backcourt and court awareness. Seeger always seems to be ready to receive the ball in the pocket and get a good shot off at the basket.

Medalie is an exciting long-term prospect who left a great impression at the Francis Marion Team Camp. He is a great shooter with good positional size, meaning he will have a high floor as a Guard at the next level. The shooting caused issues early for his matchup, knocking down his first two attempts and forcing the defense to adjust to his game. He has the ability to play either position in the backcourt and was used as the Point Guard for some possessions for the Armada. Seeger also plays hard on the defensive end, racking up 4 Steals in the win over Andrew Jackson.

Medalie has the ability to knockdown shots on the perimeter. Seeger likes to work the corners for his open looks at times. He understands on how to get open and get to his spots on the floor for open looks. Seeger will take on more of a bigger role this season for the Armada from the backcourt.
