About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a versatile 6'5" combo guard who impacts the game in multiple ways. I take pride in making winning plays through rebounding, playmaking, defense, and leadership. I enjoy creating opportunities for teammates, defending multiple positions, and doing whatever is needed to help my team succeed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a competitive, team-first player who values hard work, accountability, and continuous improvement. I enjoy being a leader and setting a positive example for my teammates both on and off the court. I am always looking for ways to improve my game and help my team win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a dual-sport athlete who competes in both basketball and football. I have maintained a 4.91 GPA while balancing academics and athletics. I have been recognized for my academic achievement and take great pride in excelling both in the classroom and on the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a starting varsity quarterback and basketball player, I have developed strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Competing in two sports has taught me teamwork, discipline, time management, and how to perform under pressure while putting the team's success first.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Throughout high school, I have overcome setbacks that temporarily kept me away from competition, while balancing the demands of being a dual-sport athlete and maintaining a 4.91 GPA. Those experiences strengthened my resilience, work ethic, and appreciation for preparation and development.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that challenges me both academically and athletically. I want to be part of a program that values player development, strong relationships, and a winning culture. Finding a school where I can contribute on the court, continue growing as a person, and prepare for my future career is important to me.
