Jerzidan added much-needed defensive intensity off the bench for Next Level Elite in a Saturday matchup with the Blazers. Despite not having a major minutes-load, Miller-Brown tallied 3 steals in the game, including one that he turned into a lefty-layup and one that was key late in the game to give his team some life. When guarding away from the ball, he showed his discipline by staying connected to shooters and had a few good contests when his opponent did get a shot off.

Rounding out the list is Jerzidan Miller-brown Jerzidan Miller-brown 5'10" | CG/PG Belton-Honea Path | 2027 State SC , a new face to the Belton-Honea Path Bears. He had a very productive second half, keeping his team in it by turning defense into offense. Miller-Brown worked really hard on the defensive end by getting in passing lanes, stripping ball-handlers, and containing the ball. Although most of his best offensive plays came in transition, he did earn a few trips to the free-throw line with strong drives. Jerzidan put up 14 points and 5 steals in the close loss.

I was impressed with Jerzidan’s film from this Summer with Anderson County Bucks and Countyline Elite. He is a very quick guard who is creative with the ball in his hands and can finish in several ways at the rim. Miller-Brown can finish through contact, is strong with either hand, and even has a nice floater. He also showed good signs with his perimeter shooting on tape and is seen as a threat by opposing defenders. Miller-Brown certainly showed that he could play either position in the backcourt and I think he could start to fight for some minutes with the Yellow Jackets this season.
