I expect the winner of this game to be the better defensive and rebounding team on the day. Both will hustle hard, attack the glass, and defend hard throughout. Vo-Tech's 2027s Ty'Juan Savage and [player_tooltip player_id='2964253' first='Mario' last='Glenn'] will look to lead the way for their team as the young leaders of the squad. They have had impactful seasons up to this point and hope to make the next steps as the team's most reliable options. St. Mary's Annapolis has a nice trio of guards they are looking to showcase along with shooter [player_tooltip player_id='2353592' first='Noah' last='Cerny'] on the wing. Should make for an entertaining game where the guardplay will be the biggest factor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Landon vs Fairfax Christian (VA) 3:30 PM</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Landon and crew will have another tough test as they'll take on [player_tooltip player_id='1370511' first='Frank' last='Siaca-Bey']'s (Fordham commit) Cardinals. One of the most anticipated games of the event will take place in the middle of the schedule at 3:30. Eli McQueen (Landon) has been catching eyes since the early summer and has not slowed down his production since. The stars will be aligned in this one as the underclassmen at Landon will look to take down the tight-knit experienced VA squad from the tough Metro conference. CMIT North used this stage well last season and came up with a huge win. '26 [player_tooltip player_id='2722714' first='Amir' last='Morton'] has turned himself into a star following his performance last year and has seen consistent production since. Ballou will be looking to bounce back after a tough start to the year. Big name school comes into the game with the hype and the names, but Atholton has never been a team to lie down. The Raiders are off to a solid start to their season and will use that wave of momentum to challenge one of DC's best. Although Neiko will not be suiting up for the Flyers, they still have plenty of talent to showcase this Saturday. Both teams will be feeling each other out for the first time in a while, and both will have a fresh chapter to build on during this early part of the year. Very athletic squads that will get up and down the floor at a fast pace. The most damage will probably be done in the paint, as both Spalding and PGCA like to attack the rim and create from the inside out.
