Cerny is a wing with good positional size who consistently provides perimeter scoring and floor spacing for Mid Atlantic Select . A capable shot maker with deep range on his jumper, he shows very good shot preparation and confidence as a perimeter shooter. Cerny also does a good job attacking closeouts with straight line drives and has the ability to knock down midrange pull up jumpers off the dribble. His combination of size, shooting ability, and offensive versatility makes him an intriguing wing prospect.

-Love the versatility in Cerny’s game as a wing that can do a little bit of everything for his team. Cerny can stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting, has enough quickness to attack closeouts from the wing, and gives St Mary’s a ton of lineup versatility as a player that can slot in anywhere from shooting guard to small ball 4. Cerny doesn’t need a ton of touches to be effective as he generates his own with offensive rebounds and well-timed cuts to the rim from the corner or wing.

-Really like the role that Cerny has carved out as one of the leaders on a scrappy St. Mary’s team with several 20+ point performances under his belt to start the year. Cerny served as an effective connector from the wings that collected several hockey assists on 1-more passes around the horn, was in the right place defensively for most of the contest, and isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty rebounding the basketball in the paint. Cerny finished all of his opportunities inside the arc, filled the wings nicely in transition, and communicated well on the back line of the defense.

Noah Cerny Noah Cerny 6'6" | SG St. Mary's | 2027 State MD is a nice Guard/Wing hybrid that provides nice floor spacing. Noah shot the ball fantastically for St Mary’s Annapolis from three. He did a nice job on the offensive glass and was effective on the offensive end. He finished with 17 points and 7 rebounds.
