Lee’s teammate with Mid Atlantic Select , Nix is a versatile wing prospect with good positional size, length, and above average athleticism. He is at his best offensively attacking the paint off the dribble and scoring in the midrange, where he consistently shows body control and the ability to create space. Nix impacts the game with his activity level and toughness, while his combination of size, length, and athleticism allows him to guard multiple positions effectively at the defensive end. He plays with a high motor and consistently brings energy on both sides of the floor.

Another player who continued to bolster his stock and strengthen his résumé. I first watched him at the Governors Challenge back in December, where his game immediately jumped off the page, and he once again backed up that production during the spring. Nix does a really good job dissecting the game in the half-court, especially from the mid and low post areas where teams can comfortably run offense through him. He is a strong one-on-one player who can get to different spots on the floor and knock down tough shots on the move or fading away. Even after suffering an injury early in the game I watched, he returned to the floor and showed toughness and swagger throughout the rest of the contest. Nix has a really rangy frame, and adding more muscle over the next several months will be important for him as he continues to develop for the college level, especially when battling on the interior. While he is not necessarily a sniper from deep, he can still step out and make perimeter shots when needed. He also showed a nose for the basketball and consistently found ways to rebound.

Nix should’ve long been a name included in our rankings dating back to his successful sophomore campaign on a successful Sherwood team. Nevertheless, he makes his strong debut at No. 40 and like Fisk, is a prospect that has a chance to improve his ranking over time. He boasts a blend of size, physicality and athleticism that not many hybrid forwards in this class have. He earned his stripes as an underclassmen showing his chops in the paint and battling for boards, earning second chance opportunities on dump-offs or offering versatility on the defensive side of the ball. While he still prides himself on those foundational skills, he’s shown improvement within the mid-range or even out on the perimeter as a real threat to knock down shots and space the floor. In fact, going into the last week of December, Nix was posting 25.3 points per game on 45 percent from beyond the arc while hauling in nine rebounds.

Nix was a captivating prospect for his Sherwood (MD) squad. He was able to touch the game in many different ways. He was assertive when he is playing out of the mid and high post areas on the floor. Nix is a willing screener and is constantly on the move when on the offensive end. Nix is an assertive switcher on defense and uses his length to exploit smaller guards and can force them to turn the basketball over. Nix also showed off his athleticism by playing around the rim. His game reminds me of a players in the 90s. Nix has the ability to score off the bounce using his in-between game. He tracks as a scholarship prospect.

was a name that began gaining momentum late last winter as a sophomore with steady progression shown throughout the summer. Now in his junior season, he’s proving to be an impact prospect that should absolutely be on the recruiting boards of colleges and his body of work in Salisbury is just another piece of evidence as to why. The 6-foot-5 four man averaged an impressive stat line of 26 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 stocks (blocks + steals) per game. He anchors Sherwood’s defense with his agile and strong frame, active feet and winning mentality.
