Tyler impressed over the summer as a playmaker with Olney Elite. He had the scorers and shooters around him as he found them with consistency. I came away most impressed with Tyler’s ability to penetrate and dish. He abused the defense with his smooth drive and quick lookout to shooters on the perimeter. Tyler was effective as the team’s point guard over the summer and I expect him to continue that style of play in his senior season with Sherwood.

-Gramling has an old school game, with a strong back to the basket scoring ability to score over smaller guards or draw the foul. Gramling’s IQ in attacking closeouts usually leads to the right decision but he does so while remaining on-balance and playing off of two feet. The perimeter jumper makes it a lot more difficult for the defense to sell out the drives, and his shot IQ allows him to be incredibly efficient from the perimeter.

Gramling continues to flourish as a heady playmaker and one who control the game for the Warriors. He has tremendous instincts, makes good reads, knows how to initiate and run the offense, and can be such a playmaker for himself and others on the floor. Gramling brings a toughness and competitive nature to the court that you love to see in your PG. Love his approach and intensity he played with!.

-Gramling has stood out at several showcases as a productive point guard that overcomes a thin frame by having a nose for the ball and outhustling his matchup to it. He can hit perimeter jumpers, take his matchup off the bounce, and forces a lot of turnovers and jump balls by anticipating the offensive player’s movements. His shooting and IQ translate to him being successful both on and off the ball

-A guard that has really grown on me and will definitely join our 2026 rankings in two weeks. Gramling is a willing facilitator that is pretty fearless off the bounce, even when driving past or at bigger defenders. Laced a 3 then blew past a hard closeout, up-faked the help defender, and stepped through to finish on the other side of the rim. Gramling takes the right shots and moves well to space to create better driving and passing angles for his teammates
