Expert Analysis
Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
The skilled big man put together a productive spring with Mid Atlantic Select, consistently showcasing his developing offensive skill set and feel for the game. A native of Turkey, he is an effective low post scorer with good touch in the paint using either hand and displays comfort operating with his back to the basket. He rebounds his area well, competes with a strong motor, and consistently brings a solid effort level on both ends of the floor. In addition to his scoring ability, he is a capable passer who sees the floor well for a frontcourt player and makes smart decisions out of the post. His improving mobility and overall skill development continue to add intrigue as a frontcourt prospect.

The skilled big man from Turkey played some of his best basketball of the spring this weekend and continued to cement himself as a legitimate frontcourt college prospect in the 2027 class. Possessing obvious size and a strong interior presence, he consistently showed a willingness to play through the post and compete physically around the basket. He plays with a high motor, rebounds his area well, and showed good touch around the rim throughout the weekend. His improved mobility was also noticeable, allowing him to impact the game more effectively in transition and defensively. In addition, he flashed solid passing ability from the post, adding another layer to his offensive skill set and overall versatility as a frontcourt prospect.

12p 7r 2a vs DeMatha
-Probably the most complete performance that I’ve seen out of the Turkish product as he showed the wide range of his skillset. Elitas hit a foot on the line pick n pop jumper from the top of the key, caught a tough pass in traffic before using the up fake to draw the and1 bucket in front of the rim, and had a well-timed baseline cut for the 2-handed dunk midway through the 4Q to maintain the Knights’ narrow lead. Love seeing the progression of motor and feel as a cutter/screener that unlocks things in the 2-man game with his guards.
