Let's now cover some of the stock-rising prospects that impressed our staff the most down the home stretch of the season. Here we go!

-Tangong will enter this spring as an enigma with some upside as a rising junior for Mt Zion (highlights here). The 6'9 Cameroon native can shoot the ball at a high level and moves well for his size as an athletic W/F tweener. He played in spurts throughout the season with MZ's Prep team and will run with TTO this summer as he continues to get acclimated to the pace and speed of American basketball. But it's easy to see the long term version as Tangong steps into a bigger role this season and will hopefully blossom into a 3+D wing with some nice upside.

-Pierre-Louis really grew on our staff over the course of the season as a versatile wing with both a good floor and ceiling as a prospect that was named to the ALL-IAC Team. He can guard multiple positions, finishes well with either hand around the basket, and plays with both a good feel and a good motor. If he can get more explosive and take/make more perimeter jumpers this offseason in AAU, he will raise his profile at a national level. But we loved seeing the strides that he took to earn more playing time over the course of the season and willingness to play different positions as the GP frontcourt dealt with some injury issues.

-The transfer from Northwest HS played well in spurs this season as he adjusted to the speed of IAC basketball. Our scouts are high on his long term upside as a versatile defender that can effectively guard 1-3 while serving as an off-ball cutter and shooter from the wings. If he can add weight to his frame and play more assertively at the offensive end of the floor, I expect him to continue to rise in our rankings.

-Dupont played well in spurts for a Glenelg Country as they made a nice run in the MIAA this season. Dupont has good positional size for a wing prospect, can put the ball on the floor, and has grinded to add in a nice arsenal of short jumpers off of spin moves or crossovers in the paint. If he can ramp up his defensive activity to serve as a switchable W/F defender for the Dragons, I'd expect him to slot into a much bigger role with their frontcourt graduating this spring.

-Pochkhua is adjusting nicely to the American game and carved out a more consistent role with the Rams as the season wore on. Pochkhua really worked onto his body to not only lose weight but add muscle over the course of the season, a difficult combination to maintain skillsets throughout, but gave his team great energy at both ends of the floor. He's a physical rebounder, grew much more comfortable taking his matchup off the bounce from the perimeter, and started to hit his free throws and perimeter jumpers more frequently as the summer wore on. As he plays with a Thrill 16u group that plays at a frenetic pace this spring and summer, that experience should pay dividends in both his short and long term develop as a high activity wing that can contribute in several different areas.

-Turkson carved out a consistent role for Blair this season as a physical big that plays with a nice motor at both ends of the floor. Playing on a team with a ton of scoring ability in the backcourt, Turkson proved his value as a sturdy rebounding and play-finishing presence around the rim. The off hand finishing ability and footwork are still relatively raw, but there is a nice skillset there to build on his frame and mold him into a consistent force on the block for Blair next season.
