Expert Analysis
Aaron Proia | Prep Hoops Scout
-Pierre-Louis really grew on our staff over the course of the season as a versatile wing with both a good floor and ceiling as a prospect that was named to the ALL-IAC Team. He can guard multiple positions, finishes well with either hand around the basket, and plays with both a good feel and a good motor. If he can get more explosive and take/make more perimeter jumpers this offseason in AAU, he will raise his profile at a national level. But we loved seeing the strides that he took to earn more playing time over the course of the season and willingness to play different positions as the GP frontcourt dealt with some injury issues.

-Pierre-Louis was key for a nice run in the 3Q that brought Georgetown Prep back to within one basket after trailing by as many as 13. His blend of intangibles and ball skills allow him to play multiple positions in the frontcourt as a wing that can knock down open shots, use his length to collect deflections or steals that ignite fast break opportunities. He’s gained confidence over the course of the year to be a more decisive downhill driver and shot-taker on the perimeter despite his youth on a G Prep team that won an IAC Championship this season. Will be really interesting to see what AAU team he runs with this spring and summer to continue to foster his growth/development as a 2-way wing with upside.

5p 4r 1a vs Bullis
-A sophomore prospect that has a versatile skillbase to build from, Pierre-Louis has been effective this season as a starter for a balanced Georgetown Prep group. He spent time guarding Skipworth in the halfcourt, had a well-timed face cut for a basket just before half, knocked down a 3 early in the 2H, and was active in help throughout the evening. Pierre-Louis continues to climb our rankings as he projects to be an effective 3+D wing with some shot-creation upside.

-Came away impressed with the physical tools and varied skillset from the sophomore wing in a nice road win. Pierre-Louis started things off with an aggressive drive down the middle of the paint to hit the floater off 2 feet, had a well-timed face cut to catch the pocket pass and score at the rim, hit a C+S 3 from the wing to help build a 2-basket Georgetown Prep lead, and knocked down two huge FTs late to seal the win for his team. His blend of size, lateral movement skills, ability to guard multiple positions and ball skills make him a candidate to make a nice leap in our next set of updated rankings for the 2028 class.

Liked the versatility Pierre-Louis brings to the game whenever he is on the floor. He can defend multiple positions and uses his length to rebound, alter shots, and collect steals. Pierre-Louis has a sneaky good offensive game that is blossoming quite nicely. He can space the floor and is turning into a 3-D man as time goes on.

Cole was a dominant factor on the floor no matter who he was up against. Held down the paint and used his frame to deny shot opportunities and layups inside. Cole had a surprisingly elusive handle on the ball that allowed him to grab rebounds and take a few dribbles down the floor. After cleaning the glass on defense, Cole looked for the outlet and consistently found teammates far up the floor for layups. Willing to shoot the ball from the perimeter and made a couple throughout the day. Another prospect the impressed our team with a ton of potential as a forward.

Pierre-Louis looks the part as a young prospect with intriguing potential thanks to his frame that boasts nice size with plus length. His overall skill set is becoming more fluid by the month and it was good to see him in grab-and-go situations where he made sound decisions with the ball in transition. In the half court, he showed off his improved shot that he gets off timely with confidence. If this part of his game continues to trend in this direction, he’ll be a valuable screening option for Georgetown Prep this season. Defensively he used his length well to alter shots around the rim and close down possessions by hauling in boards at their peak.
