Turkson’s blend of physicality, size, and activity caught my attention when I evaluated his game. I like how active he tries to be whenever he is on the floor. He is a somewhat of a tweener which makes him versatile due to the ability of plugging and playing him in different pieces of his teams puzzle. Like how he is a threat as a slasher.

-Turkson carved out a consistent role for Blair this season as a physical big that plays with a nice motor at both ends of the floor. Playing on a team with a ton of scoring ability in the backcourt, Turkson proved his value as a sturdy rebounding and play-finishing presence around the rim. The off hand finishing ability and footwork are still relatively raw, but there is a nice skillset there to build on his frame and mold him into a consistent force on the block for Blair next season.

-The youngest prospect in this group, Turkson has a nice skillbase to build from over the next two years as a strong forward prospect willing to contribute in several areas for his team. Turkson started things off with a physical spin move with the left hand finish from block, caught a tough entry pass over the top to catch and finish through the double team at the rim, showed patience on another tough post catch to hit his matchup with a pump fake and1 lay, had a smooth elbow jumper off the catch over a closeout, and came up with a really low pass below his waist to catch and finish on the run under the rim in transition. The fluidity in his movement, skill level, and willingness to guard multiple positions should bode well for his long term projections.
