is a point guard for Fairfax Christian with strong shades of Jamal Crawford. Dixon is a high-twitch ball handler who has lightning-quick east-to-west movement with the ball. Dixon is very creative finishing under the rim and is overall a very flamboyant watch. He has great body control on the drive, able to contort his body in a plethora of ways. He also has a strong floater and a sidestep three point shot to keep defenses honest.

The point guard for Fairfax Christian, Dixon has emerged as a dynamic offensive weapon in the backcourt. A shifty, athletic, attacking guard with good length, he is extremely difficult to keep out of the paint and shows creativity and body control as a finisher once he gets there. The Clarion University commit is averaging 12.8 points and 3.5 assists per game, and he has connected on over 50 three-point field goals this season, highlighting his continued growth as a perimeter scorer. His improvement as a complete offensive player, combined with the consistent effort he brings on both ends of the floor, makes him a steady and impactful presence for his team.

was nearly perfect early against St. James. Messiah hit shots from three as a catch-and-shooter, and he hit several shots where he got into his bag to create space and hit tough shots. Messiah isn’t the biggest guy, and although he is a good athlete, he doesn’t blow you away with athleticism as a scorer. He does it with elite skill, and his shot-making was up there with the best at this event. He wasn’t super ball dominant, but he was decisive every time he touched it.

-Dixon has turned heads as one of the better true point guards in the local ’26 class at the helm of a Fairfax Christian team that will have plenty of bites at the apple with 5 games this weekend. While he is more than capable of creating his own shot from the perimeter, I think his passing and POA defense will catch the eye of college coaches this weekend that will be looking for that skillset. If he’s able to show all three, I’d expect some D2 and NAIA schools to get involved.

-Absolutely love watching Dixon play. A shifty guard that does a GREAT job of getting others involved, he also has the skill level and scoring ability to create his own shot off the dribble. Dixon’s feel for when to stunt at the ball to force turnovers along the sideline or swoop in for a steal makes him an invaluable piece in the Cardinals’ full court pressure scheme that really swung this game in their favor. Dixon utilizes the Steve Nash baseline drive to create effectively for his teammates and can deliver an impressive array of different passes to get the ball to its intended target with the necessary degree of zip (pocket passes, hook passes, hammer action passes, skip passes, etc). Any college coach looking for a throwback 2-way floor general that can maximize the offensive talents of his teammates should take a look at the rising senior.

Messiah has been on my standouts of the day lists multiple times, and he is consistently raising his stock. I also mentioned him as a guy who will take a big leap this summer and come into his senior season as one of the premier guards in NOVA. Messiah has been one of the best on-ball defenders at this event and has been relentless in picking guys up full court. The ball pressure Fairfax Christian has put on teams is part of why they’re blowing teams out. Messiah is quick, and he gets by defenders consistently. He has a high IQ and passes well. He had 35 points yesterday, and he has also had games where he has effected without scoring.

. Fairfax Christian has looked terrific all summer league, and I could talk about all of their players. Messiah went for 35 points in a blowout over Woodson. Messiah is a hound defensively and does well handling point guard duties. He scores from all over the court and is putting it together as he enters his senior season.

is another guy who caught my eye at the DeMatha Summer League. Messiah is a hound defensively and gets into the jersey of opposing guards. He is quick, and he does a good job attacking and penetrating the defense. He is a high IQ PG who knows how to get players the ball. Messiah can get his own bucket when he needs to, and I love him as a leader and tone-setter on both ends. Messiah’s name has popped up more in the past few months, and is a guy that takes a leap in his senior season.

Fairfax Christian blew out St. John’s Catholic, and their defense was a huge reason why. Fairfax Christian smothered SJC with their press, and they forced a bunch of turnovers. Messiah’s hands and quickness were elite all day, and he was everywhere defensively. Messiah is a high IQ PG who can get his own bucket. He finished with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.
